Mitchell joined Bower Bailey in July 2017 as a paralegal in the firm’s Swindon office. He qualified as a solicitor in January 2022 after undertaking his training contract at the firm and he was made an associate solicitor in August 2023.

Prior to joining the firm Mitchell graduated from the University of the West of England with a 2:1 honours degree in law and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Bristol.

Mitchell undertakes a broad range of residential property work within the south west and London areas. He provides an efficient and pragmatic approach to achieve his clients’ goals as effectively as possible and to sustain strong client relationships.

  • Acted for an overseas client purchasing a flat in Canary Wharf, London
  • Acted for an executor to prepare an auction pack and proceed to completion of the sale of his mother’s unregistered property acquired in 1974. The property included 10 sales of part since acquisition.
  • Acted for a repeat client selling two high value properties for 1.3m and 2.4m in order to acquire a 4.4m dilapidated property in Notting Hill, London.
  • Acted for a client purchasing their first apartment in the heart of Bristol involving multiple leases, management companies and financial streams.
  • Acted on a client’s purchase transaction achieving an SDLT reduction due to Multiple Dwelling Relief.
  • Acted for a company purchasing an investment HMO.
  • Acted for a recurring client to acquire a social housing lease.
  • Acted for a couple in the purchase of their first home, with the use of a Lifetime ISA.

Personal Interests

Mitchell plays piano to grade 8 and performs at weddings and events across the south west. You may also find him playing football in the firm’s 5-a-side football team, at the gym or spending the rest of his spare time watching football, rugby and darts.
